Kannada Actor Chetan Kumar ARRESTED Over His Viral 'Anti-Hindutva' In Bengaluru; Says ‘Hindutva Is Constructed On Lies’
Kannada actor Chetan Kumar has been nabbed by the cops over his latest remarks on social media. As per the latest reports, Chetan in a Twitter post shared that ‘Hindutva is built on lies’.

The Seshadripuram police arrested the Kannada actor after his anti-Hindutva tweet went viral on social media. A complaint has also been registered by Shivakumar of Bajrang dal at the Seshadripuram Police Station based on Chetan's latest tweet. 

The complaint was lodged by Bajrang dal who claimed that Chatan's tweet, which claims that "Hindutva is constructed on lies," has hurt the sentiments of the Hindus. Meanwhile, several reports suggest that the district court has produced the actor, who belongs to the Dalit community. The reports also suggest that Chetan is a tribal activist, who has been accused of promoting animosity between classes and disrespecting religious beliefs.

This isn’t the first time Kumar has been arrested. Previously, he was nabbed over his remarks against a High Court Judge via social media. According to reports, the judge was a member of a bench that heard the group of petitions challenging the ban of hijab at educational institutions.
